Here is a completed twisted juniper taxidermy pedestal, it has a very unique characteristic of bored holes from bugs which we usually do not see. Most of the time the bugs/beetles will burrow under the bark creating “bug tracks” and not creating the holes. This juniper taxidermy display base looks like a piece of pulled taffy that has been stood on its end and then settled into the floor.
The pedestal has an area that has been leveled/flattened for your trophy head mount to be displayed. Either you or your taxidermist can drill a hole into this are so that the post on your head mount can be inserted into the juniper. We would be happy to speak with your taxidermist to assist in attaching your head mount.

All of our juniper pedestals are pressure washed, sandblasted, power sanded, hand sanded, hand rubbed oil finish and a finishing/conditioning oil applied before shipping.
We ship all pedestals in a wooden crate, protected with bubble wrap, foam padding and bracing so that it is not damaged during shipment. This pedestal will ship out FedEx Ground.
